My name is Trina Vargo and I am the founder and president of the US-Ireland Alliance, a 501.c.3. We are beginning to create materials (do be delivered online) for high school teachers who wish to teach about Irish/Northern Ireland history and literature. Our first project is the creation of a video about a poem by Eavan Boland about famine roads. This project is currently on Kickstarter at http://kck.st/KiOyEy More about our project may be found at http://bit.ly/KKe1xn We welcome any thoughts, suggestions and support. We are also building a database of emails of teachers who may want these materials as they become available. In particular, high school teachers who teach world cultures/world history and the language arts teachers who are interested in Irish literature. Please email me if this interests you: Vargo@us-irelandalliance.org
