Goal 11:Students need to be Discoverers!…30 Goals Challenge

February 15, 2011
by teachingwithsoul

Goal: Begin to work on ways that you can bring opportunities for your student’s to discover the joy of learning…share it with a colleague.

Quote: “The principle goal of education is to create men (and women) who are capable of doing new things, not simply of repeating what other generations have done – men (and women) who are creative, inventive and discoverers.” ~Jean Piaget

Challenge: 1) Join The Teacher Mentoring Project on The EduPLN. 2) Support new teachers at Edutopia.org by responding to their questions and concerns. 3) What can you carry out in your classroom, right now…to promote discovery?
