    November Learning has been putting on the BLC in Boston for 12 years!
    It has grown to over 1,000 participants!

    The conference is designed to bring a team as the schedule will include team reflection time at the end of the day. The Southwest BLC is designed for:

    Workshops embedded within the program provide daily opportunities for hands-on skill development. There are also practical sessions on writing, science, mathematics, etc. and a drop-in center where you can really develop these tools for your own work.

    Registration Fee for the three-day conference:
    Early-bird registration $675 per person until April 27, 2011
    Regular Registration $695 per person after April 27, 2011
    *On-site Registration $745*

    Alternative funding options for professional development:

    - Race to the Top (RTTT) or Investing in Innovation (i3) competitive grant money
    - Remaining funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009
    - Title II, Part A of the Federal Government's Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA)
    providing funds specifically for teacher and principal training and recruitment
    - ESEA Title I funding for teacher preparation and training and for comprehensive school reform
